Creating an annotated bibliography in MLA style
When writing any form of academic research paper that requires research you are expected to list out the various works that you have used to conduct that research. This can take the form of a reference page or bibliography. At times however you will be expected to do so much more, an MLA annotated bibliography requires you to also add either a short summary or a review of the work that you have used during your research and to write your annotated bibliography in MLA format. This lets the reader see that you have actually conducted in depth research and understood related works within the field of your paper; it also allows them to see which research has had the most impact on your work.
